The blood sample is run using our portable machine while at your home with results in 12 minutes. If collecting a sample is not possible or elected, the total cost of this visit will be $400. Dr. Kristin will then consult with you regarding the findings and inform you if there are treatment and/or medication options to help improve your pet’s comfort level or quality of life. With Communal Cremation, your pet is placed into the crematory together with other pets. When the process is complete, the cremains are collected and laid to rest on a peaceful wooded property located 45 minutes north of the Twin Cities. To respect the privacy of the property owner who kindly allows Trusted Journey to use this land, public visitation is not available.

Pending the pet’s history and findings on exam, Dr. Kristin may recommend other diagnostic testing and/or treatments. A newly available, fast-acting sedative may be given to help with conducting the exam (e.g. checking the ear canals), nonpainful procedures (e.g. nail trim) or for acquiring samples for testing (e.g. blood draw). Dr. Kristin has made sedation affordable and the pricing scale is by the pet’s weight. Following the appointment, owners will receive a visit summary report by email and any testing results will be emailed as soon as they are available (typically 1-2 days).
